Healthcare Newsletter from Democratic Women of Chatham County
Democratic Women of Davidson County awarded $500 scholarships to Scott Cory, a 2009 graduate of Central Davidson High School, and Alexcia Ramsdell, a 2009 graduate of North Davidson Senior High School. Scott, the son of Alan and Elaine Cory of Lexington, NC will attend UNC-CH, and Alexcia, the daughter of Renee Knight of Winston-Salem, NC, will attend Liberty University. Both students wrote essays about one of the four issues which President Obama targeted as crucial for our country's future: healthcare, energy, education, and deficit reduction.
